Sport has a plethora of ways of measuring and awarding success similarly movies have the Oscars, music the Grammy’s, whereas business doesn’t speak of pb’s [personal bests], gold medal podium finishes or top tens. There are no rankings to speak of [other than the stock market] and certainly there is no public outcry that business does not get the recognition it deserves. But these Awards, the premier business event for the Central Coast bring alive the opportunity for business to showcase their talents, their achievements, community role and their investment in the local area.
Our theme for 2014 is: Think Bright. Shining Lights. One Night. Celebrating the doers, the risk-takers and the innovators.
Who will join our Awards Alumni? Who will win the mantle of Central Coast ‘Business of the Year’ and join ACS Integrated Services Providers , Independent Portable Buildings and TrendPac on this illustrious list? Who will be shining under the spotlight? With 15 categories to be awarded excellence will be on display all night in a true celebration of the best of business. Can we repeat 2012 and 2013 and see our winners become winners at the NSW Business Chamber state awards? Independent Portable Buildings did this in 2012 for Excellence in Small Business and The Footprint Groups Kristy-Lee Billett won the Triple Crown winning her local chamber award, the CCBEA Award and ultimately the State Award for Young Entrepreneur. All achieved with one single entry form.
Our pathway is the result of our successful alliance with the Central Coast NSW Business Chamber and is an excellent working partnership and CCBEA thanks the Chamber for their support. This thanks is extended to our local chambers in particular, the Peninsula, Erina, Gosford and Wyong who are an integral part of the tripartite pathway.
The Central Coast Business Excellence Awards has provided us with some fabulous winners over the first 3 years – the question is: are you going to be part of the 2014 Alumni?Back to News Listing
